Welcome to our libraries, where knowledge is stored in books and charging ports are a rare treasure. Whether you’re writing essays or searching for a cozy spot to “study” (aka scroll TikTok), this guide will hopefully help you navigate the library scene like a pro.

The Main Players

  1. Baillieu Library (Bails)

Location: Just across from South Lawn!

This is the big one. A five-story behemoth filled with books, study spaces, and enough academic vibes to make you feel smarter just by walking in. Great for arts humanities students, but also home to anyone trying to look productive while secretly texting under the table. Pro tip: Get in early if you want a seat near a charging outlet—those are prime real estate.

  1. ERC (Eastern Resource Centre)

Location: Right next to the Zambrero’s

STEM students, this is your haven. The ERC’s modern vibe and open spaces are perfect for group study sessions or deep dives into problem sets. It’s also got great views for those “I’m totally studying, just enjoying the campus” Instagram shots.

  1. Law Library

Location: Pelham St, across from University Square

Fancy, sleek, and quiet—this is where future lawyers sharpen their minds and their typing skills. You don’t have to be a law student to use it, but you will feel the pressure to maintain a perfect posture and keep your typing at a reasonable volume. You’ll also definitely get death glares if you walk in with a group.
